MODELING
TIPS: JP.COTE, designer of this model, makes the following recommendations for
assembly:
- "For the ground base I used a 12” x 10” piece of cardboard
from a frozen pizza box. If you use this you don’t need the white interior support
pieces. If you stick with the cardstock you will likely need the support pieces."
- "I did not use the dirt pile pieces. I felt they cluttered the scene too much."
- "Green Arrow’s left leg joints are glued into place otherwise he leans forward or to the side. His right foot is also glued to the tombstone for further anchoring."
- "I used toothpicks instead of pipe cleaners in Grundy’s left arm and left leg so he could support Speedy’s weight."
- "I don’t know if it is clear in the photos but Speedy’s right elbow is glued to the background to stabilize Grundy. Otherwise he will lean forward instead of standing upright. Grundy still looks menacing, like he trying to dodge the arrows, but I preferred the upright position."
