A hulking form lurches from the shadows of the stagnant swamp. It's menacing eyes grip you in their icy glare. A murderous claw grips your throat, crushing the breath from your body. As you breathe your last, a ghostly voice sings an old rhyme "Solomon Grundy, Died on Saturday..."
According to Wikipedia:
"In the late 19th century, a wealthy merchant named Cyrus Gold is murdered and his body disposed of in Slaughter Swamp, near Gotham City. Fifty years later, the corpse is reanimated as a huge shambling figure (composed partly of the swamp matter that has accumulated around the body over the decades) with almost no memory of its past life"
