Like many other Aurora kits featuring licensed TV characters, this fun kit based on the hit 1960s show had a very short-lived production run. As a result, the scarce original MIB kits fetch between $400 and $800 dollars!

Thankfully, Polar LIghts repopped this kit beautifully, and you can still get your hands on a MIB kit for under $40, That's a real deal when you collect kits TO BUILD.

There are all kinds of cool little details to work with on this kit. The likenesses to the characters are passable, and should be fairly convincing when painted. But what really intrigues me is all the details in the set, the TV, the fireplace, the ceiling beams. These should be a blast to paint!

This family was so much sillier than the Addams Family, I don't really place them in the same category. Where the Addams were drawn with a decidedly Goth touch, the Munsters were much more Vaudevillian. Big schtick and sight gags drove these shows. What they really had going for them was the Classic Universal Horror look in the make-up, costumes and particularly in the set design.

Below are a few fun spots to do a little more research!
