| What
monster flick would be complete without the "spooky old house" at the end of the block? This ghoulish charm is captured magnificently in this kit based on the TV classic. |

The
original 1965 kit was a simple dull gray in color, but Polar
LIghts recast the kit in luminous plastic. This was probably for
grab appeal, as I remember buying my kit as part of a Halloween product
display in a department store. It was a simple build, and a ton o' fun
to paint. I tried for a darker, more abandoned look, which is why I'm considering
removing the inserts. This kit was the first Polar Lights kit I bought, and helped make me aware of the company and its terrific line of products! |

THE
ADDAMS FAMILY on TV and Film I've been a fan of this creepy and kooky lot since childhood. I watched the original show religiously as a kid, and really enjoyed the two Raul Julia/Anjelica Huston flix. The cartoons were also fun. I'm not a fan of the new live action stuff, although I do enjoy watching Tim Curry work in anything. I really hope they can keep the franchise alive in fresh and interesting ways. Below are a few fun spots to do a little more research! |
