Mock-up Kit Box Issued: 1990

These proposed kits were mocked-up to help rekindle the desire for Aurora-style figure kits. The boxes and instruction sheets were sold by a company in Lakehurst, Ohio. The art is by the very talented Gary Makatura. I would love to see these kits in production.

On the left is what could be a prototype for this kit.
It's available through Monsters In Motion.

The Invisible Man - 1933
Universal Production and release.

Directed by James Whale
Cast: Claude Rains, Gloria Stuart, William Harrigan, Henry Travers and Dudley Digges

"Imagine a person being able to do anything without being seen by the human eye. Add to that the chance the man is a maniac, bent on murder. Mix it into a story that has reasonable conviction, remember the theatrical license something like this must demand, toss in a little love interest, and you have "Invisible Man", a picture that develops something new and refreshing in film frighteners....Even H.G. Wells loved the film, and wrote director James Whale to tell him so."
